Academic Intervention Services (AIS)
Academic Intervention Services (AIS) is additional instruction that supplements the instruction provided by the classroom teacher. AIS is intended to offer targeted support to students who are at risk of not achieving grade-level standards, helping them bridge the gaps and succeed academically.
Students are identified to participate in AIS based on various assessment measures. Based on the data analysis, students receive individualized services to meet their needs. The AIS teachers work closely with classroom teachers to align intervention strategies with district curricula. Student progress is monitored and adjusted as needed to support student growth toward the learning standards.
